  • What is Exit Preparation and how is it different?

    Exit Preparation is a specialized offering where we first create a clear, prioritized plan to make your business more valuable and transferable.

    From there, you choose the support level that works best:

    • Plan + Oversight: You and your team lead the work with my guidance and accountability.
    • Hands-On Support: I take a more active role building SOPs, systems, documentation, and coordinating structural changes.

    It is ideal for future exits or generational transitions (e.g., father-to-son) and is more strategic/long-term than day-to-day operations work.


  • Do you help with generational transitions (father-to-son, family handovers)?

    Yes — this is one of the most common reasons owners choose Exit Preparation or Fractional COO support.

    I help create a practical plan and then support the operational, documentation, and structural work needed for a smoother, lower-risk transition.


  • What’s the difference between AI & Tech Optimization and Fractional COO support?

    AI & Tech Optimization is focused and project-based (typically 4–8 weeks) — targeting workflows, automation, and efficiency.

    Fractional COO provides hands-on operational leadership and execution rhythm with flexible ongoing support.

    Exit Preparation is more strategic and valuation-focused — starting with a plan and then supporting you at the level you need for exit or transition readiness.


  • How hands-on are you in the work?

    Very hands-on where needed.

    I work directly inside your business and stay closely involved. For Exit Preparation, you can choose lighter oversight or full hands-on implementation depending on your preference and resources.


  • Do I need to commit long-term?

    No — engagements are designed around your goals.

    • AI & Tech Optimization: Focused 4–8 weeks.
    • Fractional COO: Usually starts with 60–90 days, then flexible.
    • Exit Preparation: Flexible by nature — many start with a plan and 6–12 months of support, with options to adjust or pause as progress is made.

    We’ll identify your biggest operational bottlenecks, discuss your goals (including any exit or transition plans), recommend the best starting point, and outline clear next steps and pricing so you can decide with confidence.

  • How quickly will I see results?

    Pricing is customized based on the scope and level of support.

    AI & Tech Optimization is project-based. Fractional COO and Exit Preparation are retainer-based with flexible options. During the free Scaling Session we’ll discuss your specific needs and provide clear pricing with no pressure.


  • Are you available for in-person or only virtual work?

    I work with clients both virtually and in-person (especially in the Greater Toronto Area / Burlington / Halton region). Many engagements are highly effective virtually, with occasional on-site work for key workflow mapping, strategic planning or implementation phases.
