Business mentorship for local youth builders

Each quarter, I personally mentor 1–2 motivated young people (ages 17–24) in the Burlington / Halton region who are serious about starting or growing a business — at no cost.

Why I do this

I believe business is one of the most powerful ways to build freedom, confidence, and opportunity.

After stepping into Chit Chats, navigating my father’s illness, scaling it to 100+ team members across multiple locations, and exiting in 2022, I gained hard-earned, practical experience about what actually works — and what doesn’t — when building something real.

What mentorship looks like

Focused, honest, one-on-one

This is my way of passing on lived experience to motivated young people in my local community. It’s not a large formal program — just focused, honest guidance for a small number of people who are ready to put in the work.

I take on 1–2 mentees per quarter with a small number of one-on-one sessions.

We focus on practical, real-world topics:

  • Turning ideas into viable businesses
  • Understanding how businesses actually operate day-to-day
  • Building structure, priorities, and decision-making habits
  • Creating consistency and resilience when starting out
  • Actionable next steps you can take between sessions

This is not ongoing business coaching or a replacement for formal education. It’s grounded, practical support for early-stage thinking and momentum.

Who this is for

This mentorship is a good fit if you are:

  • Aged 17–24 and based in the Burlington/Halton region
  • Seriously interested in starting or growing a business idea
  • Willing to show up prepared and take action between sessions
  • Open to honest feedback and practical guidance
How to apply

If this feels like the right fit, apply through the contact form. Please include:

  • Your name, age, and a bit about yourself
  • Your business idea or current project (even if it’s very early)
  • What you’re hoping to learn or get out of the mentorship
  • Why you think you’d be a good fit

I personally review every application. Spots are limited each quarter, and I’ll follow up if you’re selected for the next intake.
